Life is all about making tough choices. Today we have one worthy of the wisdom of King Solomon. Male supermodels Bo Roberts and Allen Walker have been around a long time and are staples in the underwear industry. Both men are scorchingly hot, owing to possessing the rare combination of devastatingly handsome faces as well as perfectly sculpted bodies. They are equal in that they represent the zenith in male physical beauty and perfection. But they are far from being the same. And today you must choose a favorite. But don’t fret just yet over the seemingly impossible task before you. We will help by breaking down the differences between each model’s appeal.
When models go on casting calls, the agent or producer would use to snap photos of the models against a blank wall with a Polaroid. The idea being that if you can look good under office lighting conditions when captured with a disposable flash camera, you have it within you to transcend when captured by a master photographer in a photoshoot setting. Our first head-to-head comparison is a no-frills, stark-lighting, straight-on capture of each of the models. Both men are in excellent shape with similar builds, but Bo is definitely more defined and the nicely groomed body hair is a big plus for anyone who is a fan of fur. Even with facial scruff and tousled hair, their faces are unimpeachable…but we’ll get to that in detail next.
You would think that having a perfect body would be the most important feature for an underwear model. Not so. Models have to connect with the viewer in order to get them to buy whatever they’re selling; and the eyes are the way to the wallets. Do you prefer to be entranced by Bo’s searingly blue eyes with flirty lashes? Or do you prefer to go weak at the knees when Allen stares at you with those deep-set bedroom peepers. Do you like a more expressive and sculpted set of eyebrows like Bo has or do you prefer the bushy ones that frame Allen’s eyes. Do like Bo’s full and pouty lips that are an integral part of his look? Meanwhile, Allen’s signature square jaw line is the ultimate in masculine appeal.
Next let’s check out their bodies. No complaints here. It’s a simply matter of preference. Hairy or smooth. You decide. But I’ll take one of each please.
Both models are extremely photogenic and know their bodies well. Their poses accentuate their musculature, but do not seem forced or awkward owing to their relaxed facial expressions and eye contact with the viewer.
Some shoots require extreme definition and fitness. Again the secret is composure and making sure the face looks good while the body is flexing every single muscle.
Some shoots are thematic and may require costumes or props. A top model will rise to the occasion and own the look, no matter what they are tasked to wear. These two can wear a potato sack and make it look appealing.
It’s not all about glares and stares. Some shoots require models to exude personality and energy, as well as show emotions to fit a mood. With their famous bodies covered up in t-shirts, Bo and Allen rely on facial expressions to bring on the sexy and the playfulness.
A casual black and white shot is essential for every model’s portfolio to show off a personal side. Bo opts for artistic while Allen channels a future Abercrombie campaign.
Of course, the ultimate brass ring for every model is to land a national or international campaign and work with world-famous photographers. With any luck they might end up creating an iconic image that will live on in the public consciousness forever. Who can ever forget Marky Mark in his white boxer briefs?
In these busy times, if a model can lure the viewer in to take a moment before turning the magazine page or clicking away, that counts as an advertising impression, and the longer they linger on the image the more valuable it becomes.
Both models are older now and no longer in the business. But even in these parting shots, they still have not lost their appeal nor their knack for connecting with the viewer.
An impossible decision: Bo Roberts (l.) or Allen Walker (r.)? With these two models, "Equal" does not mean "Same". Take the poll below and read the fun article.https://t.co/F1nnW80E3M pic.twitter.com/DxngwZVo4l— Professor Porn (@ProfessorPorn3) August 24, 2019
